Dale Bowen was born in Staffordshire in 1963 where he still lives. He studied art at Newcastle under Lyme college.

Dale worked as a master potter for many years in the industry both with Coalport and latterly Wedgwood. As the creator of many one-off pieces in the Prestige Department of Wedgwood, his ceramics have graced the tables of the rich and famous, including royalty.

Having worked in the pottery industry for so long, his first love has always been painting, which keeps him returning to the canvas to produce these delightful paintings with their bright, cheerful 2D images in candy floss colours.
